From 20 March, the timetables for route 2 and 10 trams will be updated
From 20 March, the timetables for route 2 and 10 trams will be updated. This change is due to the fact that the analysis of the timetable data for trams on the bypass road along the Central Market has shown that route 2 and 10 trams between the stops “Prāgas iela” and “Stacijas laukums” have longer actual travel times than planned, resulting in deviations from the planned timetable. In order to improve the timetable, new timetables have been developed for route 2 and 10 trams, changing the travel times from the terminals. The number of departures operated will remain unchanged.
As is known, on 6 March, construction works on the tracks and overpasses at the intersection of 11. novembra iela and 13. novembra iela started, diverting route 1, 2, 5 and 10 trams along the Central Market. During the construction works, the stop “13. janvāra iela” will also be closed in both directions.
